so, another month, another show. I was pretty happy with this mix, until i listened to it again and discovered there's an isolation problem with the mixer, meaning you can hear (faintly) the next track being cued in.
Lets look at it as a post-modern deconstruction of the "text" of the DJ mix, rather than the out-and-out fucking bullshit cock-up it actually is.

The May Mix- Guest! Festival news!

This Sunday (8pm cet) Hold Tight Radio rolls out another 2 hours of specialist audio. This month we have a part 1 of what’s sure to be a cracking mix from Jack Spontan, with a decidedly tropical theme. I’m dusting down my grass skirt and coconut man bra (the “cocobro”) as we speak.

Plus, I’ll be lining up a number of extended 12” dub versions and tweaked-out discoid burners to round out the rest of the show.


And some quick but exciting news: I’ll be playing a boat party (Noah’s Ark) at this year’s Garden Festival in Croatia July 10th. Can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to this- a Funktion One sound system on a boat in the middle of the Adriatic. There. Is. A. God.

OYE Allstars Party- Sat 7th March

Very excited about this: Saturday the 7th I'll be playing at the Oye Allstars party at KDR, 18 Papel allee. That's in P berg, Berlin, closest U-Bahn is Eberswalder Strasse. For those that don't know, Oye Records is arguably the finest record store in Berlin, and rather dangerously located at the end of my street. Great selection, nice vibe, and the staff are genuinely good people. I might as well transfer half my wages directly to their bank account, damn them. The party fun starts at 10ish, see you there!
